Red II

Two strands of the DNA molecule, encoded with the letters – A C G T are zipped open. The code is copied.  Sent as a message from the nucleus to the ribosomes in the cytoplasm. Transfer RNA reads it and executes the instructions. Protein is made by collecting the specified amino acids. They are placed in the right order, in chains of polarity, where they stabilise. Then they are folded up into the right shape to form the building stones of man. 1)

Red was a man made from stones. His blood pumped passionate and red in his veins. He would do anything for you, engage in toxic toil, wear a mask and lose his soul for you.

Then his stones were rolled away, and he said, ‘that is not who I am.’
