Spinnekop blom 2020

Fynbos flowers make alliances with pollinators – to attract or repel. Here the flower petals reflect a picture of a spider and the style and stamens resemble legs. Wachendorfia paniculata is for good reasons called die spinnekop blom and sometimes the butterfly lily. On the other side is Pelargonium betulinum and on the inside dry osteospermums.
