I live in Pearly Beach, a small coastal village in the Overstrand region of the Western Cape. After living most of my adult life in Johannesburg, it was a dream come true to return to the Cape of my childhood. Here, where the view of the fynbos and the sound of the waves flow deep into my studio, my whole being looks up and I see the glory of God everywhere.
My ceramic work is about my line drawings on my pots. It captures my thoughts with immediate directness and is my way of observing, understanding and learning.
